We operate an onsite warehouse, based in Birmingham (UK), covering tens of thousands of square feet and fitted with sophisticated IT systems that are operated by highly trained warehouse personnel.

A priority based online system ensures that all web orders are given utmost urgency so that same day despatch can be guaranteed in all cases where the title is in stock and on the premises. If required an order can be completed in less than ten minutes.

With over three decades of logistics experience Computer Bookshops ships orders worldwide and can fulfil UK orders (subject to availability) within 24 hours. All available products are despatched the same working day and shipped using a pallet delivery service. We also utilise our strong publisher connections to ensure that street date sensitive products are delivered to retailers and customers at the optimal time.

Data Feeds

We offer a data feed for our titles that can be easily integrated into existing systems. The information can be provided in any preferred format of which the most common are XML, XLS and ONIX. The product information provided by the feed is updated by our dedicated Product Management department on a daily basis.

Subcontract Web Retail Solution

Some of our clients choose to delegate their entire book and course retail operation to us, allowing them to concentrate on their primary business activities. This solution consists of the use of the Computer Bookshops physical facility and maintaining a fully bespoke Web site for the customer, processing and fulfilling each order, and providing the after sales service.
